The love within you - being loving

"All things were made through HIM (JESUS), and without HIM nothing was made that was made..." -John 1:3

* GOD amazes me *. Not only for Who He is and does, but for all the things that He has made. There is such wisdom, beauty and LOVE expressed in the LORD's Creation!

About love, we can learn some lessons from animals. For example, our dog most likely is: always happy to see us (no matter how we look like), faithful (regardless of our mood changes), trusts us, teachable, never gets tired of being with us...in our dog's eyes "we are it". Our dog is GOOD to us.

Now about loving GOD, how much do we trust HIM? are we always happy to go to HIM in prayer? do we accept HIS will for us? are we free from idols?...do we want to know GOD more? are we willing to sacrifice ourselves for HIM?

"...GOD demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us" -Romans 5:8

Amazing LOVE!

Also, how much do we really LOVE our neighbors?...are we forgiving? are we GOOD to them? do we have their best on mind?

GOD made each one of us different! But each one of us with a great capacity to love and being loved. We need and desire to be needed. Love GOD above all things and your neighbors as yourself.

See you around. Keep smiling, the end of the journey is just ahead!* "...behold, I AM coming quickly, and My reward is with ME, to give to every one according to his work." -Revelation 22:12

Therefore, I tell you: LOVE! Be loving. Don't hold your love back!

The honey within you - being sweet -

Being sweet is a good thing. I recognize people who are truly sweet, there is a glow about them. I think they can be closer to heaven. Their hearts are bigger to embrace people and to give themselves more than the non-sweet folks. Sweet people may have reasons to be bitter about. However they chose to forgive and remaining sweet. This doesn't mean that they are dumb, naive, or slow; on the contrary, they are intelligent, wise, and quick.

The world may put sweetness down, but behold, true sweetness is from above and we have it within! The resource is GOD. How much honey do you have?

I LOVE all about GOD, especially HIS sweetness. Just look @ Creation! Look the majestic mountains, the heavens day and night, and the tenderness displayed in a delicate flower. Look at animal faces, at the perfect harmony in the human body, look into children's eyes...it's all wisely sweet to me!

Being sweet fuels love. And love is sweet. Being sweet warms up the heart. What happens when we are in love? All is sweet! isn't? Aww...Amazing feeling! Be sweet and may all seasons be sweet to thee...to GOD all the glory!

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understanding all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love,I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burn, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Love suffers long and it is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

The lawyer within you - life purpose

What are you living for?... Do you know your GOD given purpose in life?...
or are you just going throw the motions? is there a "lawyer" within you?...

Let me share a quick story with you.

I knew a successful lawyer, knowledgeable, dynamic, polite. He was preparing his way to be retired so he worked his own part-time 'relaxed' schedule. He had amazing people skills, therefore knew a lot of people and had great connections. He had traveled all over the world, had a nice family, an expensive car, a beautiful house, designer suits, and more. Seemingly, all that is worth living for...what the world would call "to be successful in life."

However, one morning his greeting had an unusual sad tone. I asked him if he was okay. I was amazed by his reply: "You know?...my mom's best friend just passed away. I just came back from the church service they did for her. She was like an aunt to me. She knew me since I was 4 years old...she was very dear to me. I just realized, in a different sense, that death is very real, and, about the brevity of life...and,...I FEEL EMPTY."

EMPTY >>>HE FELT EMPTY >>>HIS LIFE WAS EMPTY -------->WHY? = BECAUSE he had lived his life to himself instead living his life for GOD!

------------GOD created us for HIS purposes and to give HIM honor, praise, glory and thanksgiving. To learn to love HIM, love others, love ourselves.
If we fail in this, we have failed in life.------------------------

At that time I didn't know any good answer to give him, therefore I remained silent. With teary eyes he excused himself and left for the day.
His reply however became a profound lesson in my life. And I hope in yours too; may it warns you, teaches you, reminds you, redirects you, inspires you or assures you the GOD given purpose of your life.

*REMEMBER, ONLY WHAT IS DONE FOR JESUS CHRIST WILL FOREVER LAST!

Heavenly FATHER, help me to live everyday for YOU. JESUS, thank you for giving Your life for me, I give my life for YOU. Amen.

The Child Within You - Purity

"Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me." -Matthew 18:3-5


Many of us have put in the past what we were like when we were a child. Growing perhaps in too many disappointments, pain, loneliness...but, remember what was it like to be a little kid? It was awesome! A world of wonder and awe! Innocence and purity. Sincerity of the heart. Spontaneity. Everything fresh anew. So many dreams. So much to explore. What a deep longing to love, be loved and cared for. Days filled with laughter and play. Simplicity. Sensitivity. Meekness. Days that never go away in your heart if you grow sweeter with the years instead of bitter and mad.

No wonder the LORD told His disciples: "Let the little children come to me for the kingdom of GOD is theirs". Become like a little child. Be pure. May the LORD cleanse you day by day to bring forth the little child within you back so that you may come to realize in your heart how much GOD LOVES YOU!


This post also reminds me of the Beatitudes:

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART, FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of GOD. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for they persecuted the prophets who were before you". -Matthew 5:3-12

The fisherman within you - the Great Commission

Hey beloved brothers and sisters in our LORD JESUS CHRIST, let me ask you something...are you making a difference for HIS kingdom?

If you are, great! If you're still thinking about it, stop thinking about it and do something for the LORD! Bring people to heaven with you!!!

Every person is precious and every one expresses GOD's love to others in an unique way, through our personalities. When JESUS went back to the FATHER He told to His disciples to take charge of the Great Commission. We are all called to spread the gospel to everyone! To be fishermen of men. Are you fishing? Are you loving others enough that you don't want them to perish without CHRIST?...I know there must be a fisherman within you that longs to be active in service for the LORD. Why not start now? Just use your imagination. Remember we'll be accountable to GOD for the things we did or did not for His kingdom. Let the SPIRIT lead you. Be creative. Tell others about GOD's sacrifice on the cross so they could be eternally saved.

The evil within you - conviction & repentance

"And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light
and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed."
-John 3:19-20

Evil. By evil mean anything wrong that a person has done anytime in any level regardless if they are sorry for it or not, acknowledges it or not.
Who has not done wrong things in life?

• do you lie?
• judge others?
• are you self-righteous?
  
• did you ever steal anything?
• have you disrespected your parents? other authority?
• envious?
• any greed?
• lust for power, possessions, someone else?
• adulterated?
• fornicated?
• have said the Name of JESUS CHRIST or GOD in vain?
• filthy talk?
  
• swear words?
• gossip?
• have you abused yourself into anything?
• have you abused others?
• do you have idols*?
  

*An idol is ANYTHING that you put first in your life rather than the CREATOR who made you. For example: where does your time, talent, and money go? Those would be your idols.

And the list just goes on. This is to show you that ALL of us have a great potential for making/doing evil things. WHY? The answer is simple, we have a SIN NATURE. But GOD has put eternity in our hearts (that deep longing to be fulfilled, love and being loved). GOD has also given us a conscience.

However our SIN NATURE pulls us to the opposite side of loving GOD, loving others, loving ourselves. Our SIN NATURE goes after the lust of the eye (unlawful things to have), the lust of the flesh (unlawful things to "feel"), and the pride of life (being admired by others).

If someone was going to be judged with such bad list of things done, will that person be innocent or guilty? GUILTY! Of course! We ALL are guilty! However there is hope. JESUS CHRIST died and resurrected to save us and give us eternal life in heaven. My friend, don't be cast into the lake of fire: "...they were judged, each one according to his works...and anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire" -Rev.20:13,15.

My friend, let your name be written in the Book of Life. It can be done by saying this prayer: "Dear GOD I repent from my sins, please forgive me and help me overcome them. I believe in JESUS as my Savior. I want Your light in my life GOD, guide me, protect me, show Yourself to me and give me peace. Write my name in Your Book of Life. In JESUS' Name. Amen."

Our hope is in JESUS who paid in full our "debt" and reconciled us to the FATHER. We are saved by FAITH in CHRIST alone.

The forest within you - Prayer

Sometimes when I feel like life is closing in on me...

I remember the very first time I went hiking. After only few steps into the forest I was caught up by a still silence. This still and awesome silence spoke to me so loudly that even today I can hear its voice in my heart. I looked around and saw the light coming through the tall redwood trees...some birds singing, squirrels running around, green everywhere, but more beautiful than that was the feeling of being totally loved and observed by a powerful GOD. I knew He was there. I felt His embrace. I know GOD is everywhere. I know He promised never leave us nor forsake us and this truth became to me very real that day.

So everyday and whenever I feel discouraged, struggling with circumstances, or I simply want to scape in my mind to a peaceful place, I look for that beautiful forest within me, where I can be me and be alone with GOD. Do you have a forest within you too?


*Helpful hints for prayer: Bow down on your knees if you're able to, and open your heart to GOD. Praise HIM for Who He is and all the blessings that HE bestows daily upon you. Pour out to HIM all your cares and troubles; consult with Him, share your life with HIM. Then thank HIM with all your heart for everything. May you listen and obey HIS voice. "Pray without ceasing..." may you be filled constantly with HIS SPIRIT and become all HE created you to be and fulfill the mission that only you can do in this world for HIS glory.

The pearl within you - Salvation

Pearl: a smooth, rounded deposit formed around a grain of sand in the shell of various mollusks, especially the oyster; anything which is precious, rare, or fine. - Webster's Dictionary


Once I heard that the process of a pearl being formed causes pain in the mollusk. This truth inspired the message for this blog:

Just as a pearl in a shell, every person has an incredible value within: an eternal soul. Take yours to Heaven. The sea shell patiently endures the pain of a beautiful pearl being formed, how are you enduring suffering? do you want to form the most beautiful pearl within you? Accept GOD's salvation through JESUS! I have seen the Hand of GOD at work in my life and I want to tell you that HE is absolutely GOOD, POWERFUL, and HE CARES about everything you care about.

GOD will help you form the most beautiful pearl within you -CALLED SALVATION, Christian life- by accepting CHRIST JESUS as your LORD and Savior.

You choose your responses to pain. You are free to choose your attitudes towards life. You are also responsible to seek wisdom and knowledge that you may have gain from pain...You are also free to accept GOD's love and salvation for you. He wants to help you! GOD wants you to have eternal life! He wants you to be close to HIM now and forever!

"FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD (YOU) THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON (JESUSCHRIST), THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH (IN HELL) BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE (IN HEAVEN)." -John 3:16

JESUS is THE ONLY WAY to heaven.

JESUS said: "I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the FATHER except through Me" -John 14:6.

JESUS loves you more than you can think or imagine!

He also promises to take us (His children) with Him: "Let not your heart to be troubled; you believe in GOD, believe also in ME. In My FATHER's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I AM, there you may be also" -John 14:1-3

When you say from your heart:"LORD JESUS, I need You. I repent from my sins. Please come into my heart, save me, I believe in You. Give me new life. Amen." Then...
You're a new creation.You're part GOD's family. And I rejoice exceedingly for you! The peace of GOD rests upon you. The HOLY SPIRIT will direct you to all truth. Share your life with GOD and love Him back. Share HIS love with others. Remain faithful in His love.

Pray, pray, for all things pray...

And remember always this precious truth:
"No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor entered into the heart of man the wonderful things that GOD has prepared for those who love HIM".

I encourage you to gain wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction" -Proverbs 1:7.

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not in your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths" -Prov.3:5-6

"My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, nor detest His correction; for whom the LORD loves He corrects" -Prov. 3:11-12
